How current are the cash bid prices?
AGSIST reads each elevator's board on a short repeating cycle, day and night. A bid is the last price that elevator posted, shown with the time it was read, so it can trail the futures if the elevator has not updated its board. Always confirm the bid with the elevator before you load or haul.
My elevator isn’t showing up. What can I do?
It shows up once AGSIST reads its board. Some smaller independents do not post bids online at all, and some we have not added yet. Use the form on this page or email sig@agsist.com and I will see whether it can be added. The network grows most weeks.
How are bids ordered?
Nearest first, by distance from the ZIP you enter. On the Cash Bids page you can sort by best cash price, best basis or name instead. No elevator pays for placement.
Can an elevator pay to rank higher?
No. Listing is free, and payment never changes bid order or ranking. Bids are shown as the elevator posted them, with the time they were read. Elevators can claim their board to check their name, town and phone.
