Rain Print: your farm's rainfall year as wall art
Type your town and a year. The page reads every day's rain at the nearest NOAA weather station and draws the year as a print to hang, with your farm's name and the dates that mattered. Making one is free. A print file is $19; a 12 x 18 print is $45, or $89 framed.
Giving it for Christmas? Pick 2026: you get a gift card to print now, and the full-year print in January.
Enter a town and a year, then Draw my print.
Your print appears here. Staircase draws the running total of the year's rain: flat stretches are dry, steep steps are heavy days.
Print files for fulfillment. 12 x 18 in at 300 dpi with 0.125 in bleed on every side (12.25 x 18.25 in, fits a 13 x 19 sheet); keep text inside the trim. This switch only hides the buttons; it does not protect the files.

Giving 2026 as a gift
Sig makes the print once the station's December numbers are in, and it goes out in January. You get a proof first, as with every order.

Common questions
Where does the rain data come from?
From the NOAA weather station nearest your place that has a record covering the whole year, read through RCC-ACIS, the data service of NOAA's Regional Climate Centers. The print names the station and how far it is from your place. It is that station's gauge, not your own field: a thunderstorm can drop an inch on one farm and miss the next.
What if the station missed days?
The page tries the three nearest stations and uses the first one with 10 or fewer unrecorded days. Any unrecorded days are counted on the print itself. A station with more than 31 unrecorded days in the year gets no print, because the gaps would look like dry weeks that may not have been dry.
What do I get for each price?
The $19 digital file is your print as high-resolution files sized for 12 x 18 inch printing, emailed to you. The $45 print is that design printed 12 x 18 inches on Epson matte paper on Sig's own printer, unframed, shipped rolled in a tube. The $89 framed print is the same print in a black stock frame with an acrylic front, not glass, so it ships safely; it arrives ready to hang. Printed, framed and shipped by Sig in Wisconsin, to US addresses.
How does ordering work?
Draw your print, then pick an option. Where online checkout is open, the button goes to checkout and your design code travels with the payment. Otherwise it opens a short order form, and Sig emails you within a day with a payment link and a proof. Nothing is printed before you see the proof.
Can I make a print of the current year?
Yes, as an order delivered in January. A finished print needs every day from January 1 to December 31, so for the current year the page draws a preview from the days recorded so far, marked as a preview on the art. Sig makes the real print once the station's December numbers are in. NOAA's daily numbers usually arrive within a few days, so the print goes out in January.
Can I give a 2026 print for Christmas?
Yes. Pick 2026 in the Year box. The page draws a marked preview from the days recorded so far. Order the file, the print or the framed print at the usual price, then print a gift card to put under the tree: it names the place and the person, carries your message and a small preview, and has a code that opens the design. Sig makes the full-year print once NOAA's December numbers are in and delivers it in January, with a proof first like every order.
What does the red stamp in the corner do?
It is a working QR code. Scan it and this page opens with the same design: place, station, year, layout, colors, name and dates.
