GRAINS GIVE BACK THE CHINA POP AHEAD OF XI SUMMIT
THE ACTION
Corn: no action above $5.29, but a settle below $5.27 says the China pop is fully unwound, price the next 10%.
Corn settled $5.29, down 3½ cents, wheat down a penny and three-quarters, both giving back Monday's China-hope pop before Thursday's Trump-Xi summit even opens. Cattle fell 0.8% to $219.35 the day after a 2.4% jump on record-low placements, that's real profit-taking, not a reversal of the placements story.

Trump Backs Diesel Export Ban At Record Prices
A ban would keep more diesel at home right into harvest and fall fieldwork, worth watching against the Oct. 1 trucker strike threat.
